Criminal Appeal No 10/2016 Arising from ACD No 83/2014

Appellant had previously been convicted on charges of corruptly soliciting and receiving gratification of UGX 70,000, and had been sentenced to 34 months and 24 months imprisonment on counts I and II without an option of a fine. He appealed against the severity of the sentence. High Court set aside the sentence and replaced it with a fine of UGX 250,000 for each count.
