Outcome: Conviction through plea bargain A1 pleaded guilty to Counts II, IV and V while IG withdrew charges on counts I and III, he paid a total fine of UGX 10,000,000. He was also ordered to refund UGX 163,956,960 within 12 months. He has so far refunded 10% of the funds in issue. He further deposited a certificate of title for land in Buwate as security for the payment.
