Offence committed: Embezzlement, Causing Financial Loss, False Accounting by a public official

Outcome: Through plea bargain, accused person pleaded guilty to Counts I (CFL) & IV (Embezzlement) in exchange for a withdrawal on Counts II, III and V. He was sentenced to a fine of UGX 2,500,000 on count I or 12 months imprisonment and he was sentenced to a fine of UGX 1,500,000 on count IV or 12 months imprisonment. He was further ordered to refund UGX 38,160,000 within 6 months.
