The IG Compliance Unit is headed by Mr. Victor Amos Acidri. It is a vital enforcement arm of the Inspectorate of Government (IG), ensuring that it’s constitutional and statutory mandate is fully realized.

While the IG has the authority to investigate and act against corruption, abuse of office and maladministration, the effectiveness of these actions depends on proper follow-through (implementation). The Compliance Unit bridges this implementation gap by monitoring and enforcing adherence to IG directives.

By translating investigative decisions into concrete actions, it helps deter corruption, strengthen accountability and build public trust.
