The state is lining up 25 witnesses in the corruption case against three former Health Ministers and a state house employee.
The Anti Corruption Court Chief Magistrate Irene Akankwasa has set the 11th of June as the hearing date of a corruption case against Jim Muhwezi, Mike Mukula, Dr. Alex Kamugisha and Alice Kaboyo.
The four suspects agreed to withdraw an appeal before the Supreme Court in which they challenged the powers of the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to sue them to pave way for an expeditious trial.
They are accused of misappropriating 1.6billion shillings from GAVI that was meant to fight TB, Malaria, and HIV/AIDS.
