The economic monitoring minister has intervened in the Kabale park wrangle.
The wrangle stems from failure of the company that won the tender to pay its dues to the council. The company’s contract is renewed every year. The arrears have accumulated to sh200m since 2006.
Banyenzaki has asked the local government minister, Adolf Mwesige and the Inspector General of Government, Justice Irene Mulyagonja, to investigate allegations of the irregular award of the taxi park tender to Kigezi Transport Cooperative Society.
