Works Minister John Byabagambi has criticised the manner in which his former boss, Abraham Byandala, was arrested over accusations of abuse of office and causing financial loss to the Government.
Byabagambi, who described Byandala’s arrest as ‘unfortunate and an occupational hazard’, said public servants are not angels and they can make mistakes in the course of duty.
On Tuesday, Byandala was picked up by the Inspectorate of Government officials and charged alongside former UNRA bosses before the Anti-Corruption Court in Kampala.
