Court has intervened and stopped the sacking of Aristarco Mujuzi Kasekende, the finance and administration manager of NEMA.

The Acting Deputy Registrar High Court Civil Division Festo Nsenga issued the order yesterday after Mujuzi proved that he had filed a case challenging his illegal sacking for having authored a dossier pinning the Executive Director Dr. Tom Okurut and Chief Accountant Allan Kasagga in squandering close to sh3b on staff parties and non-existent workshops.

Mujuzi claims that in a bid to save the institution of the massive financial loss, he contacted a whistleblower who file a complaint with the IGG.

โ€œThat when the issues I had previously raised to the ED Okurut and the Finance Committee of the board were raised by the IG officials in their investigations, the ED together with other directors immediately suspected me of having reported the matter to the IGG,โ€ he states.
