Luweero District Service Commission is on the spot over allegations of corruption in their recruitment exercise.
It is alleged that the officials sitting on the panels, ask candidates for bribes ranging from sh2m to sh500,000 to be given jobs.
A whistleblower who called himself a concerned citizen has now petitioned the office of the IGG seeking intervention.
In the letter dated 01/07/15, the whistleblower accused the District Service Commission of among others extorting money from candidates on purposes of consideration for jobs, short listing non-qualifying candidates as per qualifications in the job adverts, bending rules to suit individual interests and lack of professionalism.
