An aggrieved former employee of Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) has gone to court challenging the orders of the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to block the corporation boardโ€™s decision to sack Irene Muwanguzi, the managing director over incompetence, and failure to pass probation review.

Justus Barugahare, a former employee of the corporation, is seeking orders to quash the directives of the IGG Justice Irene Mulyagonja, alleging that it is illegal to retain Ms Muwanguzi as the MD after she was terminated.

In the application for judicial review before Nakawa High Court, Mr Barugahare has sued UPPC jointly with Ms Muwanguzi alleging that the latter is holding the office unlawfully after the expiry of her probation on December 1, 2015.
