The Inspector General of Government (IGG) has said former Busia LC5 chairperson, Ouma Adea, is not eligible for nomination for that post, because he is barred by law, having been convicted of corruption by the courts of judicature.

This was contained in Justice Irene Mulyagonja’s email while responding to a letter by Brian Serius of Solo “A” village North “A” ward, western division, Busia municipality, dated February 12.

Serius was seeking the Inspectorate’s position on the alleged nomination of Adea for the office of the district chairman from which he was ousted by the courts of law.
