The Inspector General of Government (IGG) has advised suppliers of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) in Gulu to be patient as her office investigates some of the complaints raised by some stakeholders.

Some of the complaints include irregularities in the supply of different seedlings to the district.

Capt. Don Adiiki, the Gulu DISO, who was acting RDC, in a letter dated October 17, 2016, directed the CAO, Dorothy Ajwang not to sign any OWC documents since his office was investigating irregularities in the distribution of 100,000 citrus seedlings that were delivered to the sub counties of Bungatira, Patiko, Paicho and Unyama. The letter also requested the IGG to take interest in the case.

Munira Ali, the spokesperson of the Inspectorate said investigations into allegations surrounding supplies of OWC seeds and seedlings in Gulu are underway.
