Officials from the Inspectorate of Government (IG) have camped at Masindi district headquarters to investigate the alleged theft of an insemination kit.

On August 8, 2016, Patrick Kasumba, the MP Bujenje County asserted that Masindi district probation officer, Blasto Byamukama, received the kit from Kampala but never delivered it to Masindi district local government.

Following the IG officials’ visit, Byamukama presented the kit and accused Kasumba of witch-hunting him.
