The Inspector General of Government (IGG) has asked court to uphold the conviction of Principal Inspectorate Officer, Robert Kalungi, who was convicted of soliciting a sh40m bribe and receiving sh3m.

Appearing before the Anti-Corruption Court judge, state attorney Robert Opiya from the Inspectorate of Government (IG) on Tuesday asked court to dismiss Kalungi’s appeal seeking to set aside his conviction.
