The Inspector General of Government (IGG) Ms Irene Mulyagonja, has sent investigators to start probing the interdicted Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) executive director, Jolly Kaguhangire.

“The IGG has not held a meeting with Kaguhangire in person, but investigators from the Inspectorate of Government who went to UIA to collect documents, met with her,” noted the IG Press Release on Friday.

In a telephone interview with New Vision on Saturday, the IG Spokesperson, Munira Ali, confirmed that the Inspectorate had started probing Kaguhangire and the UIA recruitment process.

She said the findings would be shared with the relevant authorities at the right time.
