Prompted by a whistleblower’s 3-page petition, the IGG has commenced investigations into embezzlement and abuse of office allegations against Kamuli LC5 Chairperson, Salaam Musumba.

Signing off as Wilson Isabirye Baleke, the whistleblower raises 6 allegations against Musumba, who in a weekend phone interview, said she wasn’t scared of anything.

“I have no problem with the IGG doing her work. If I am being probed it’s good because it’s an opportunity to be cleared again. I did nothing wrong so there is nothing to hide,” said Musumba adding that she has a lot of information to share with the IGG enabling her to arrive at strong findings.

“I have a special audit report which can help the IGG save time and money. It’s thorough. It was done by the Office of the Auditor General."
