President Yoweri Museveni has set up a technical team to probe the manner in which three suspended energy ministry engineers were executing their duties regarding the Karuma and Isimba dam projects.

Without divulging names, sources revealed that the probe team, comprising engineers from State House, as well as from various government ministries is required to compile its report within three months’ time.

The Presidential Press Secretary, Lindah Nabusayi, said she could not disclose the details given the sensitivity of the matter.

But she added that the President had directed the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to investigate the suspended officials.
