The Vice President Edward Ssekandi has urged all eligible leaders, especially the elected ones, to declare their wealth in time as required by the Leadership Code.

Ssekandi was presiding over the formal launch of the wealth declaration period by the leaders online. The event was held at Masaka Secondary School in Masaka Municipality on Wednesday.

According to the IGG, Justice Irene Mulyagonja, the online declaration will effectively capture and process more information.

Mulyagonja said online wealth declaration is cheap and convenient as one fills the forms online at their convenience from any location on the globe compared to the past when one had to queue at the IG offices.
