Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanya yesterday asked MPs on the Parliamentary Education Committee to study the Inspector General of Government’s report on mismanagement of Kyambogo University and advise the House on how to proceed.

Ms Rose Akol, one of the Parliamentary Commissioners, tabled the IGG report days after Ms Irene Mulyagonja, the IGG, presented it to the Speaker of Parliament, Ms Rebecca Kadaga.

Mr. Oulanya asked the Education Committee chaired by Lamwo Woman MP, Ms Sarah Lanyero, to study the report and highlight the areas where Parliament can take action.

However, some of the committee members who spoke to Daily Monitor but requested not to be named, said there was no need for further investigations since the IGG did a thorough job.
