SOROTI: The State Minister for Ethics in the Office of the President, Rev Fr Simon Lokodo has been dragged to the Office of the Inspector General of Government for non-salary payment.

The minister is accused of not paying his political assistant for months.

Lotyang Patrosi, the former personal assistant, said he was forced to take the matter to the IGG because all his efforts to get the minister to pay him have failed.

Lotyang said he worked for the minister since 2012 where he was supposed to be paid sh250,000 a month. His services were however discontinued in December 2014.

The petition was delivered to IGG’s Office on the 30th of March.
